OCEAN WALK COMMUNITY

Driving, biking or walking up Mallery Street you can’t help feel the warmth and beauty of the live

oaks and the friendly people. In the summer the trees provide incredible shade and in the fall

they provide protection from the breezes. Less than half a mile from the village where we had an

incredible lunch overlooking the water, you’ll see the inviting entrance to Ocean Walk. The heated

pool is on the left and a two minute walk ahead is the large stocked pond, clubhouse and of

course, the families of ducks.

Ocean Walk sits on 16 beautiful acres just north of the quaint seaside village at the southern tip of the island. During its 40 year history it has developed wonderful charm. If I did not tell you how old it really is you would never have guessed as it is so well maintained.  No one fights for parking space for either cars or bicycles because there are plenty. We keep our bikes in the bike barn or in one of the large bike tents. Someone is always fishing in the well stocked pond. We love to watch the duck families and sometimes grab a steak and cook it on one of the convenient gas grills near by. Lots of friendly families here taking advantage of the tennis courts and other facilities. Families feel safe.
Clubhouse - Ping pong, video games, office center, exercise center, bar and card room Two Swimming Pools - One heated (shown) and one unheated and with a gas grill Picnic Areas - Seating, tables, grass grills, playground Pond Area - Fishing (well stocked), fountain, duck families, trees and grassy areas for just being lazy

One of two pools. This one is heated. The other one is set up for parties and water games. It has a gas grill too.
